Specialist Vehicle Training’s philosophy is 'safety first' and our training programme is specifically aimed at producing safe, responsible and informed drivers first and foremost.

H LICENCE INSTRUCTION AND TESTING

Our H-Licence training, which is widely acknowledged within the industry to be amongst the most comprehensive available, takes place over 3 days using (for our H licence candidates) our 16.5 tonne FV432 Armoured Personnel Carriers, and culminating in your driving test with a Driving Standards Agency examiner. The course programme includes intensive training on vehicle positioning and manoeuvring skills; safety & basic maintenance, road-use skills testing and preparations for the formal DSA driving test. Groups are limited to a maximum of 5 candidates. If required, individual courses are available.

BASIC DRIVING AND SAFETY FOR LAND USE OF BV206

Over recent years the versitile, articulated, tracked BV206 has been purchased by a growing number of civilian companies for an ever-widening range of uses. On and off-road driver requirements are often poorly understood, so we have recently developed a new Basic Driving Skills course for this vehicle to enable companies to meet their Health & Safety training needs. The course includes a formal driving assessment. This one-day course is for a maximum of 4 people. This can take place at our training centre using our vehicle, or alternatively we can send a trainer out to you.

G (Road Roller) & F (Tractor) INSTRUCTION AND TESTING

We will soon be offering training courses for Road Rollers and Tractors culminating in the DSA test for category G and F Licence. We are currently taking expressions of interest from individuals and companies, please contact us at training@svtraining.co.uk to register your interest in these courses.
